JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Protection Warfighting Function (WfF) Integrator and Planner will provide comprehensive support for the Protection WfF planning and integration in support of large-scale readiness training exercise. This role involves direct management of the aviation portion of the exercise execution matrix, facilitating exercise life cycle planning, and ensuring the fulfillment of training requirements for rotational training units.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the Protection WfF portion of the overall exercise execution matrix (EXMAT).
- Participate in all Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events relevant to the Protection exercise function.
- Coordinate and synchronize Protection, Force Protection (FORCEPRO), and Base Defense Operation Cell (BDOC) training needs.
- Provide support during foundation weeks and other critical planning phases.
- Facilitate and deliver Protection training requests, guidance, and scenario development during exercise execution.
- Utilize mission command and communications systems to manage Protection training overlays.
- Serve as a technical expert in Protection, cyberspace security and defense, risk management, force health protection, police operations, and physical security procedures.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Army and Joint Protection Doctrine.
- Experience in joint, multinational, decisive action environments.
- Previous participation in large-scale military exercises or training events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Protection operations.
- Expertise in planning and integrating training scenarios encompassing BDOC operations, FORCEPRO measures, and other Protection functions.
- Proficiency in operating systems related to Protection, BDOC, and FORCEPRO operations, including Command Platform of the Future (CPOF), Joint Command Battle – Platform (JBC-), and SINCGARS radio communication.
- Familiarity with systems such as Beast+, NAV Air Electronic Attack Trainer (NEAT), and Spectrum Guard Pro.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel as required to various locations within the 54 states and territories and District of Columbia.
