We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in mechanical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and minimizing downtime due to mechanical failures.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and mechanical equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform repairs promptly and effectively.
- Install new machinery and equipment as needed, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary.
- Certification or training in mechanical maintenance is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours emergencies.
