Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Warranty Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical support and assistance related to warranty requests. The Construction Warranty Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, coordinating repairs or replacements, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have basic construction skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review warranty claims and determine the appropriate course of action based on warranty coverage and company policies.
  • Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and vendors to gather necessary information and documentation for warranty claims.
  • Evaluate warranty claims by conducting thorough inspections, tests, and assessments
  • Coordinate and schedule repair or replacement services with authorized service providers or contractors.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of warranty claims, including detailed notes, photographs, and relevant supporting documents.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and service providers regarding warranty coverage, installation requirements, and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as customer service and sales, to resolve warranty-related inquiries or escalations.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of warranty processes, including identifying areas for efficiency enhancement and customer satisfaction improvement.
  • Times may occur when miscellaneous demolition or miscellaneous work is also needed at the beginning of the projects.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications
  • Proven experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair warranty issues.
  • Familiarity with warranty claims processes and procedures is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Must be able to be adaptive and dynamic with oncoming tasks and not be afraid to get your hands dirty to accomplish tasks promptly.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and applications for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Company vehicle and tools will be provided.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Long periods of walking, standing, kneeling, and maneuvering through construction sites.
