Job Details:


  • Position Unarmed Security Guard
  • Type: On-Call position
  • Location: Hillsboro VA Clinic 1925 NE Stucki Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97006, United States



Duties:


  • Interact with all individuals encountered in and around the areas of surveillance to provide information, problem-solve, prevent unlawful activity, take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Patrol the areas around the Clinic and report any illegal activity, unusual findings, or safety concerns.
  • Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.
  • Performing access control procedures on vehicles, personnel, and visitors.
  • Informing personnel and visitors of security procedures, as well as acting upon non-compliance.
  • Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems.
  • Investigating suspicious activities and disturbances.
  • Immediately reporting security breaches to designated law enforcement agents.
