Urgent Recovery Center:
HOPE is very excited about the expansion of our Urgent Recovery Center (URC). Our URC is a place of stabilization providing an emergency assessment and intensive support for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis. The URC setting allows individuals 18 and over to de-escalate from a crisis state in a safe therapeutic environment. With a goal of resolving the immediate crisis and stabilizing at the lowest level possible, services may also include meals/showers, detox screening, case management/peer services, and emergency medication. The URC is staffed 24/7/365 with a multidisciplinary team of a prescriber, nurse, licensed behavioral health practitioner, and peers with lived experience similar to the population served.
Available Shift and FLSA Status
- 12-hour shift rotations; Day Shift: 7 pm - 7 am
- 3 days/4 days per pay period -Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday each week, with alternating Wednesdays
- This position is classified as non-exempt.

SUMMARY
Provides advocacy, linkage, referral, case management, and crisis services to consumers in the community and URC. The Case Manager provides phone, IPAD, and in person support for clients in crisis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Adheres to agency policy and procedures, CARF and DMHSAS standards and criteria, CCBHC practices, federal and state confidentiality rules and regulations, and any special funding source requirements including Medicaid and HCA regulations.
- Supports and promotes a service environment for individual in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives. Attends annual core competencies training in relationship to individuals with co-occurring disorders or who have experienced trauma in their lives.
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with supervisor and peers. Can effectively work within a team or group setting cohesively.
- Responds to HOPE Crisis line, First Responder IPAD, and 988 dispatch calls to help clients in crisis.
- Responds to calls in the community to de-escalate or provide linkage to the level of care needed.
- Establishes rapport with clients, assessing client needs; organizes, plans, and delivers face-to-face client services; and provides verbal de-escalation when necessary.
- Coordinates the needs of clients and family members with resources available and provides client advocacy as needed with an emphasis on preventing hospitalization.
- Participates in outreach and engagement efforts for clients and other professionals at inpatient levels of care to facilitate referrals and client participation in services.
- Assists clients in finding and accessing community resources needed to maintain independent functioning.
- Assists clients in safety planning to maintain the least restrictive level of care.
- Responsible for maintaining strictest confidentiality guidelines for interactions regarding consumer and family information.
- Available Shifts – Sunday thru Tuesday 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am with rotating Wednesdays; Thursday thru Saturday 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am with rotating Wednesdays; PRN available to cover call ins and vacations
- Responsible for seeking out supervisory assistance for additional training and to enhance skill set as needed.
- Interacts with other professionals to discuss therapy or treatment, new resources or techniques, and to share information. Works as a liaison between inpatient psychiatric facilities to assist in discharge planning and follow-up care from inpatient treatment.
- Reports and documents services in accordance with agency policy and procedures. Adheres to HOPE policy and procedure of having documentation completed by the end of the next business day.
- May be required to work evening or weekend hours.
- May provide coverage for URC MHT staff.
- May be required to provide client transportation using a personal vehicle or agency owned vehicle.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or other related mental health field.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Required to obtain and maintain DMHSAS CM Certification.
Required to complete Therapeutic Options, or approved safety training and annual updates.
May be required to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications.
In order to provide client transportation in private or agency vehicles, must possess current, valid Oklahoma license, meet HOPE insurance requirements. HOPE will annually obtain copy of Motor Vehicle Record from the Department of Public Safety.
