Job Summary:

Volvo Cars of Naples is on an upward growth trajectory and as such we require the assistance of an key BDC Operative / Individual to help market and answer customer inquiries.  Heavy focus will be placed on NEW CAR INTERNET LEADS / OFF LEASE PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT / OTHER IN HOUSE CRM TOOLS all designed to drive NEW CAR DEPARTMENT.  

The BDC Operative at Volvo Cars of Naples is a full-time, base plus commission only position.  This individual contributor role is responsible for identifying and responding to customer needs, generating leads, and ultimately selling vehicles from our dealership in Naples, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Compensation & Benefits:
The BDC Operative position offers a competitive compensation package, with a compensation opportunity ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, this role offers commission-based incentives for meeting and exceeding sales goals. Other benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and make outbound calls to generate leads
- Utilize product knowledge and sales techniques to persuade customers to purchase vehicles
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and current customers
- Collaborate with sales team to ensure a seamless sales process from start to finish
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and sales transactions
- Keep up-to-date on current vehicle inventory, features, and promotions
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale follow up

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the auto industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Motivated and results-driven with a passion for sales
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
