Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to users requesting basic support and troubleshooting, such as password resets, printer configurations and break/fix instructions.

2. Contact support or call for outside vendor maintenance as needed.

3. Gathers and analyzes information about the user's issue and determines the best way to resolve their problem.

4. Provide support for identified issues where configuration solutions have already been documented.

5. Responds to desktop, laptop, and other user device support.

6. Handles break/fix, configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations, hardware repair, A+ cert level experience including in-house repair or coordinating depot repair services.

7. Research and implement solutions for new issues.

8. Troubleshooting, configuration, database administration, and repair for server, network, infrastructure, Data Center, email, file shares, and other infrastructure issues.

9. Create new user accounts and change or delete existing accounts per request.

10. File and app servers, Cloud services, Web Apps, VPN and manages Security camera systems.

11. Maintain IT hardware inventory and availability.

12. Manages software purchases and licenses.

13. Works closely with CEO, Director of Operations and Human Resources.

14. Attends required staff meetings and trainings

15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering or network administration.
  • Valid NYS driver's license and ability to travel between sites as needed.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position demonstrating a progression of responsibilities is preferred. Team leadership and project management experience is a plus.
