POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary function of this position is to receive, open and disposition correctly returned equipment, accessories and parts from dealers, servicers and end users. Additionally, this position is responsible for the refurbishing of equipment and accessories into resellable products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Receives Returned Equipment, Accessories and Parts, verifies accuracy of material received, noting condition of packaging, if appropriate, and processes appropriate computer transactions. Reconcile contents with receiving documents, noting discrepancies or missing items

· Determine if an RMA has been issued for the shipment, or a warranty claim has been opened.

· Work with Finance Department to identify non-documented return equipment, accessories and parts to ensure proper credit is issued and / or returning of item(s) to sender

· Position the returned material along with the paperwork for review by Technical Support Technician

· Evaluate and Diagnosis freight damaged returned “new” equipment and accessories to determine if they can be refurbished to a useable condition as either as new equipment or accessory or a “Scratch & Dent” used equipment or accessory.

· Evaluate and Diagnosis customer returned equipment or accessory to determine if they can be refurbished into a useable condition as a used equipment or accessory with “food contact”

· Responsible for refurbishing those equipment or accessories, identified as being able to be refurbished, back into useable condition. Submit order for required parts to refurb equipment or accessory. Additionally, make sure the appropriate manuals and inserts are included in with refurbished equipment or accessory as well as re-boxing and labeling equipment or accessory into approved boxing.

· Responsible for cleaning returned equipment or accessory of food materials so that the units can be resold as “Used with Food Contact”

· Responsible for maintaining equipment boxing material inventory for re-boxing process

· Responsible for converting standard Globe and Varimixer mixers to Correctional Package units prior to units being shipped

· Responsible to coordinate and work with Parts Department Manager for replenishment of correctional conversion supplies as identified on Correctional Conversion Parts Catalog.

· Assist Logistics Department with freight claim filings by documenting and photographing damaged return equipment, accessories and parts and uploading said documents and pictures to appropriate system drive for storage and attachment to claims.

· Responsible for transferring refurbished “used” equipment and accessories from Location 80 to Location 20 once refurbishing and boxing have been completed plus staging equipment, accessories and parts in designated areas for transfer to locations 00 or 30 by warehouse personnel

· Responsible for Scrap Material Disposal process including weighing, recording and maintaining paperwork for weights of scrap containers prior to scrap company picking up containers.

· These and other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

OUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma

· Some post-secondary training in a technical area is helpful

· Experience servicing restaurant equipment preferred

· 2-3 years-experience in an industrial receiving environment or relevant work experience processing returns

· Must be able to operate a forklift truck and standard material handling equipment.
