Overview
Our office is a fast-paced practice looking for a professional with exceptional work ethics, and high morals and values. At Smile Design Dental Ft. Lauderdale we empower you to focus on what you love to do: caring for your patients, one smile at a time. Our growing practice is looking to add a part time Endodontist. We are seeking an Endodontist to work 1 day a month, in our Fort Lauderdale office. 

Endodontist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administration of general anesthesia and performing endodontic therapy on patients with compromised dental health and infections
  • Creating and maintaining a professional appearance
  • Pay close attention to detail when performing procedures
  • Chart patient information
  • Complete daily reports for each procedure performed while conducting tasks
  • Maintain current knowledge of new treatment options, materials, equipment, and products related to endodontics
  • Understand the process of endodontic treatment and be able to explain it to patients
  • Use the latest tools and technology related to endodontics during job duties
  • Work well with others in a team setting, collaborate on patient care with other healthcare professionals, and communicate effectively with patients, clients, staff members, and coworkers
Endodontist Requirements:
  • Endo- Residency completion and Board Certified in Endodontic Practice
  • Active State Dental Board license. Licensed to practice in the state where practicing
  • Two years of postdoctoral experience, training, or obtained a clinical certificate as RDCS. This may be satisfied by completing 24 hours of didactic instruction and, 3600 hours of clinical experience under supervision.
  • Comfortable preforming complex root canal procedures and endodontic surgery, including Apicos.
  • Completed training in the management and prevention of dental emergencies
  • Certification in CPR
