We are seeking an Entry-level, Electrical Engineer In Training (EIT) to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proficient in the design of low voltage power distribution systems and lighting systems, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, power plans, lighting plans, control schematics, block diagrams, and installation details.
• Proficient in completing engineering calculations, including load summaries, breaker sizes, conduit and wire sizing, voltage drop, and fault current.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD software.
• Good understanding of the NFPA 70E National Electrical Code.
• Strong ability to work independently and efficiently on small to medium electrical and control system design projects.
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs and control descriptions.
• Experience in construction administration, field inspection, start-up and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering required. 
• Working knowledge of National Electrical Code
• Knowledge of electrical and industrial controls engineering experience in Water/Wastewater industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of producing EI&C Contract Drawing packages in AutoCAD is preferred.
