Lead Infant Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities:

1. **Curriculum Development:** Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans that promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers.

2. **Child Care:** Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.

3. **Supervision:** Oversee and supervise assistant teachers, ensuring proper care and engagement with children.

4. **Parent Communication:** Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress and well-being.

5. **Health and Safety:** Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the classroom.

6. **Assessment:** Conduct ongoing assessments and observations to track children's development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

7. **Professional Development:** Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

- **Education:** Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Preferred: relevant certifications in child development).

- **Experience:** Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.

- **Knowledge:** Familiarity with child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.

- **Skills:** Strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Additional Notes:

- CPR and First Aid certifications might be required or preferred.

- Compliance with background checks and clearances per state regulations.
