We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our facility located in Fayette, AL, 35555. The ideal candidate will have experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles, ISO 9001 Certification, and strong leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing Principles to optimize production processes

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Certification standards

  • Lead and motivate a team of production workers to meet production goals

  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demands

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow

  • Conduct performance and salary reviews, provide feedback and overall guidance. Administer disciline, develop strategies for performance, and productivity improvement

  • Understand and accurately maintain / utilize Epicor

  • Promote high employee morale and maintain high employee retention; demonstrate the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications
  • Understanding of manufacturing methodologies, like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, preferred
  • ISO 9001 Certification Experience
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Previous experience in a production supervisory role preferred
  • Two or four-year college degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the steel or metal industry

You should be proficient in:

  • Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • ISO 9001 Certification Experience
  • Leadership / People Management

Salary info:

$31 - $38 / hr
