Job Summary:

Our Emergency Department Pediatric Nurses are integral members of our healthcare team, responsible for providing specialized and innovative care to pediatric patients during critical situations. Equipped to handle a variety of emergency scenarios, our ED RNs must be ready to respond quickly and decisively to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients. From assessing incoming pediatric patients to prioritizing their injuries and medical needs, our ED nurses play a vital role in delivering quality care when it matters most.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 18 months of Nursing experience working specifically in a pediatric Emergency Department environment.
  • Demonstrated level of performance and practice in pediatric emergency nursing.
  • Recent ED experience within the past six months.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans for pediatric patients.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services, including but not limited to, triaging patients, administering medications, and providing emergency interventions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pediatric patients, their families, and hospital personnel during high-stress situations.
