SPYSCAPE is seeking an IT Technician to ensure that all visitors experience the best our exhibition has to offer and that our business users are optimally effective in their use of computer hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate will be keen to dive into a very dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment, taking on a variety of tasks as needed. This role is based in Midtown Manhattan and reports to the Director of IT.

Coming soon will be our newest interactive experience, SPYGAMES, which will offer fun immersive challenges developed with experts from CIA and Special Ops to stretch visitors’ physical and mental agility.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve all issues relating to computer systems and audio visual equipment throughout SPYSCAPE
  • Carry out daily preventative maintenance and system checks to minimize potential operational downtime
  • Identify and alert Director to additional checks that would eliminate operational issues
  • Carry out support of front of house sales systems as required, working with partners as needed
  • Provide basic support to back of house computers and systems as needed
  • Provide basic support to remote and onsite office staff with computer and systems issues as needed
  • Ensure the overall technical consistency of the exhibition guest experience
  • Work within a shift schedule covering mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Some evening work in support of special events as required
  • Some overnight work in support of special projects, repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Additional tasks as requested by Director
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • 2 years practical experience in an IT environment
  • Excellent experience with technical fault finding
  • Excellent knowledge of MacOS and iOS
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Apps in a business environment
  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems and PC architecture
  • Good understanding of networking
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of cloud technology
