Bizzell is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist I, who will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the organization. This role involves handling incoming calls, responding to inquiries, and assisting in various administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.


Supervisory Responsibilities: None


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare email memorandums, emails, reports, invoices, and other inter-office correspondence.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendar of senior leadership, and support teams.
  • Create and maintain electronic filing systems.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and inquiries; filing, photocopying, binding, scanning, respond to emails on a daily basis; set-up VTC for virtual conference meetings.
  • POC/Escort for fingerprints or PIV Cards mailing fingerprints and escorting individuals while onsite.
  • Review and follow up on Hotline Inquiries support.
  • Review and follow up on SAE Presentation support.
  • Review and follow up on VSR reports management systems such as EDMS, MS Lists, etc.
  • Attend VSR Support monthly/bi-weekly/and AD HOC meetings.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Windows 10, internet research, and data entry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to produce quality work under deadlines.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of relevant professional experience required.

Physical Requirement:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
