Currently, we are seeking a Store Stocker to join our client's team in Gwinnett County, GA.
Job Description:
The Store Stocker will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking automotive parts. This role requires quick thinking, attention to detail, and the physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and climbing ladders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to identify items for movement or distribution.
- Convey materials from receiving areas to storage or designated locations.
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for delivery or shipping.
- Mark materials with identifying information, and open boxes, crates, or other containers.
- Record quantities of materials received or distributed.
- Weigh or count items to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Enter records into the computer system for inventory management.
- Prepare parcels for mailing and shipment via common carriers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic to above-average computer skills.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, with some overtime as needed.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
