As a full-time Pet Care Retail - Customer Service Specialist, your schedule will be flexible, covering various shifts to meet our pooch parents' needs. You'll work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sundays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR PET CARE RETAIL - CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

As a Pet Care Retail - Customer Service Specialist, you will manage the check-in and check-out process for daycare and boarding services using our PetExec software. You'll ensure accurate records are maintained and update reservations as needed. You'll assist in composing emails and field inquiries to appropriate staff, handle client communications regarding dog drop-offs, pickups, and service inquiries, and answer the phone, providing detailed information and assistance. In addition, you will ensure that the community storage area and feeding room are well-stocked and organized.

You'll be responsible for processing client transactions using our point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and you'll contribute to keeping our workspace clean and inviting. Throughout your day, you'll interact with dogs, move them between daycare and training sessions, and prepare their meals and medications as needed. You'll also support retail inventory management, inputting quantities, pricing, and displaying items, while keeping the storefront organized and appealing.

Here's what we need from you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of customer service
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization and maintain client relationships and customer satisfaction
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and OS operating programs
  • Ability to sort, count, and accurately calculate currency change and totals
  • Good math skills

Previous experience in the pet care industry, specifically in customer service and retail, is not required but highly preferred.
