Excellent opportunity for an experienced Director of Recreation at a leading long-term care facility located in lower Westchester County. Excellent professional opportunity for this Recreation leadership role, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the therapeutic recreation program, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, while ensuring the highest quality of care for the residents and patients.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in a recreation role in an assisted living, long term care or similar healthcare environment
- Prior supervisory/leadership experience required; able to manage teams and foster a positive work environment
- Working knowledge of geriatric care and related rehab care practices
- Certification as a Recreation Therapist (CTRS) or similar license/certification strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills; possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors.
