Description

ISEI Staffing Agency is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Clinical Cardiologist specializing in Advanced Heart Failure in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. Join a thriving heart failure program at our client's Department of Cardiology. We seek a skilled physician certified or eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation to contribute to their growing and vibrant team. The position involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, primarily based at their main campus in Punchbowl.

Team Overview:

Their advanced heart failure team comprises dedicated professionals, including heart failure faculty, RN coordinators, pharmacists, social workers, and nurse practitioners. The team performs right and left heart catheterizations, endomyocardial biopsies, and CARDIOMEMS implantations. They actively participate in cardiac amyloid and cardio-oncology programs, reinforcing their commitment to comprehensive heart failure care.

 

Academic Affiliation:

As our client is affiliated with the University of Hawai'i, physicians joining their practice receive a faculty appointment suitable for their experience. This appointment involves direct supervision and mentorship of cardiology fellows in clinical and research settings.

 

Work Environment:

Heart failure calls occur on average 1:4 weeks.
Inpatient CCU coverage (teaching service) is 1:6 weeks.
The medical center comprises many beds and annually serves a substantial heart failure patient population.
They extend their heart failure service to other affiliated hospitals.
