Claims Administrator
This position is an integral member of the Sales and Customer Service Group. This position works closely with Quality, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Customers.
The Claims Administrator plays an essential role within the framework of risk management operations, focusing on the efficient handling and processing of claims from initiation to resolution. This position acts as a liaison between claimants and internal Taghleef departments, ensuring that all parties are informed and that the documentation necessary for claim assessment is accurately compiled and submitted. By maintaining a thorough understanding of policy details and claim procedures, the Claims Administrator supports a smooth operational flow, contributing to the timely and fair settlement of claims. Their efforts directly impact customer satisfaction and trust, reinforcing the company’s commitment to service excellence and integrity in the face of unforeseen events or losses.
This position may reside in either Newark, DE, or Terre Haute, IN.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process incoming claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Liaise with claimants to gather additional information or clarify existing data as related to claim.
- Request dispositioning inquiries with Quality department.
- Obtain proper delegation of authority approvals for settlement of commercial and warranty claims based on assessments of damage or loss.
- Responsible for providing clear and comprehensive explanations to claimants about reasons for denial of claims that do not meet policy conditions.
- Coordinate with the Logistics department to implement the return authorization of such claimed materials.
- Obtain and submit to claimant corrective action reports when requested and or supplied by Quality department.
- Maintain detailed records of all claims, decisions, and financial transactions related to claim settlements within SAP and Claimant web portal systems.
Requirements:
- Experience with SAP systems and or other ERP tools experience required.
- High School Diploma is required, Business Administration/Claims experience in a related administrative role, with focus on detail-oriented tasks preferred.
- Knowledge of business and communication principles involved in customer relationship management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong numerical and reasoning abilities.
- Knowledge of claims handling, showcase skills in claim processing, dispute resolution, data analysis.
- Must be proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
