YOUR TYPICAL DAY

As a Veterinary Technician, you start your day by prepping the clinic for appointments and procedures. You assist our experienced veterinarians in examinations and surgeries, performing tasks such as venipuncture, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring. Additionally, you handle dental care, surgical prep, lab work, and patient recovery. As you interact with clients, you provide guidance and compassionate care, keeping them informed every step of the way. You are an essential part of our clinic, and your skills and talents are always appreciated here at Bee Cave


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED AS A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a veterinary technician
  • Open availability and a flexible approach to your schedule

We're also looking for someone who has experience with:

  • Venipuncture
  • IV Catheter Placement
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Surgical prep/assistance
  • Dental radiographs and prophylaxis
  • Lab work prep and pharmacy
  • Patient recovery and compassionate care
  • Animal restraint
  • Client education
