We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mailroom Clerk to join our team. As a Mailroom Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the mailroom, ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of mail and packages. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, including labeling, weighing, and ensuring proper postage.
  • Manage and organize mailroom supplies, maintaining inventory levels.
  • Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and copiers.
  • Track and log mail and package deliveries.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to mail handling.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a mailroom or similar role is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
