Sales Manager In Training

Responsibilities:- Facilitate and join customers on test drives from the dealership
- Create a positive auto sales experience by taking a knowledgeable approach to presenting used car features, options, and differentiating characteristics
- Close used car sales using strong negotiation and customer service skills to ensure a positive sales experience
- Field inquiries about used car contracts and facilitate support to summarize the related financing options
- Uphold the dealership’s reputation for excellence by maintaining a professional appearance, whether in the showroom or attending sales meetings
- High school diploma mandatory; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Requires knowledge in used car features, auto sales, car dealership protocols, financing options, and automotive sales
- At least one year working as a sales associate, preferably in a dealership setting, is necessary
- Must hold a valid, state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Strong communication skills, customer service skills, and an outgoing personality are critical
Who is Grote Automotive? Fred Grote has been in the car business for over 25 years. He opened his 1st store in Fort Wayne, IN in 2008. Growing from 25 cars a month to 200 he opened a 2nd store in Warsaw, IN. After Great success there his 3rd store came to Rockford, IL. The 4th and 5th stores have just arrived in IN in 2022 as well. We plan to open 1 more in 2024. We opened here in Rockford in December 2020 and have been growing FAST. We specialize in solving transportation problems that most dealerships can't.
