Position Summary:

  • Ability to perform PMs on 100% of all equipment types without guidance
  • Specializes maintaining at least 2 Key systems required to support the Manufacturing Process 
  • Machine Tool – (Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, or Pneumatic systems) 

  • Ability to utilize the CMMS to convert work requests to work orders, complete work orders, and fill in relevant information 
  • General understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams 
  • Ability to Collect data points on vibration PdM routes 
  • Perform and train to preventative equipment tasks on machine tools and industrial equipment including, but not limited to:
  • Equipment inspections
  • Dredging
  • Filter cleaning and replacement
  • Oil & belt changing
  • Lubrication & cleaning
  • Machine battery replacement
  • Perform and train to predictive equipment assignments including, but not limited to:
  • Alignments
  • Vibration analysis
  • Thermal analysis
  • Runout & wear checks
  • Inspections
  • Complete preventative and predictive maintenance documentation in the CMMS System and other documents as requested
  • Assist in training Maintenance and Equipment Technicians in their duty requirements 
  • Ability to communicate equipment issues with Manufacturer Tech Support for a timely repair
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement correction action on machine equipment
  • Submit purchase requisitions into SAP
  • Coordinate and move equipment and complete Installation Qualifications as required by Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, or Maintenance Engineering
  • Train Operations on Autonomous equipment activities as required
  • Coordinate work with contractors and riggers as needed to complete tasks as assigned
  • Recommend and help maintain appropriate spare parts
  • Participate in Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings as requested and assist with improving Mean Time to Failure and Mean Time to repairs Metrics and KPI’s
  • Recommend improvement opportunities to Equipment Lead or manager
  • Complete Pre-Task Hazard Assessment activities as required
  • Assist and coordinate in moving equipment as maintenance requires
  • Assist and coordinate Janitorial staff in maintaining a safe and clean environment as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Certificate or Associates Degree in Applied Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related field is required.
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of degree/certificate.
  • Recommended 5+ years of experience in the industrial maintenance environment, along with ongoing history of satisfactory performance
