A private practice group is seeking an Anesthesiologist Assistant to join an esteemed anesthesia group in the Tampa, Florida area. As a member of the team, you will provide anesthesia services across a variety of specialties, including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, healthy pediatrics, regional, neuro, and outpatient cases. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, focusing primarily on general cases, without OB, cardiac, trauma, or critical care responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $240,000 per year.
- 6 weeks of vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition during procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective anesthesia plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records, including pre-operative evaluations, intra-operative notes, and post-operative care documentation.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergency situations that may arise during anesthesia administration.
- Stay updated on the latest advances in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Florida medical license is a plus but not necessary.
- New graduates or experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
