POSITION SUMMARY – to assist the Head Tennis Professional in the organization, implementation and administration of the tennis/pickleball programs offered at the club .

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach group lessons to adults and juniors
  • Teach private lessons to adults and juniors
  • Assist with adult and junior program development
  • Assist with Club Championship for adults and juniors
  • Promoting the game of tennis/pickleball at the Club
  • Assist with running member tournaments, mixers and other special events as requested by the Director.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • USPTA or PPTR certification prefered
  • Excellent public relations, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to motivate members and co-workers.
  • 4+ years experience teaching tennis to adults and juniors.
  • NTRP level 4.0 or higher
  • Candidates must have a strong playing/teaching background.
  • College education is preferred

Compensation:

  • $25 to $40 hourly
  • Private Instruction $ - Negotiated Percentage of Lesson Fee

Summer Bonus– negotiated
