Job Description:

Work in a production environment, engage in continuous production activity and meet requirements of time constraints. Use powder painting equipment in a production environment. You will be held accountable for quality and accuracy of your work. Check the products for accuracy and make any adjustments. You may be expected to interact with other departments in the completion of their daily assignments.

Qualifications / Job Skills:

• Must be able to understand and learn or have experience in operation of a paint gun.
• Must be able to understand and learn or have experience in operation and set up of a paint booth.
• Capable of understanding and learning, or have experience, painting by following a pattern or template.
• Must be able to concentrate in a busy work environment and be detail oriented.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and Measuring tools to include Micrometers and Calipers.
• Must be able to perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards.
• Previous experience in industrial paint at some level of skill set is desired.
• This position entails standing for long periods and some heavy lifting.

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Paint Experience Preferred

Other Duties as Assigned:

Other duties could include working in other areas to provide support during absences/shortage of staff.

Safety:

• Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety equipment as prescribed by law.
• Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques and perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.
• Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
