Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Analyst to join our IT department in Fort Myers. The System Analyst will be responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing information systems to meet the needs of our organisation. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively across departments, and a deep understanding of IT systems and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to gather and document business requirements for new systems or system enhancements.
  • System Design: Analyse business requirements and design system specifications, workflows, and diagrams. Develop detailed technical documentation to guide system implementation.
  • System Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams to oversee the implementation of new systems, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to technical specifications.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate that the system functions as expected. Identify and resolve any issues during testing phases.
  • System Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Process Improvement: Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through system enhancements or automation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions and create user manuals for end-users to ensure they can effectively use new systems and tools.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system processes, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a system analyst role or similar position.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of system analysis and design methodologies.
    • Proficiency in SQL, databases, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
    • Familiarity with various programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
    • Experience with ERP systems, CRM systems, or other enterprise-level software is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex systems and business processes to identify solutions and improvements.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
