Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Title:Welder

This position is responsible for fabricating various sheet metal products utilizing drawings, instructions and company guidelines.

Primary Accountabilities*: •

Operate welding equipment to work with carbon steel in various thicknesses in horizontal and vertical positions (stainless steel and aluminum also as required)

•Proficient in tig and wire welding

•Visualize what finished products should look like (print reading)

•Finish grinding on welded sheet metal using a hand grinder. Welded/ground corners are to be cosmetically adequate.

•Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes

•Perform all duties in safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA guidelines. Qualifications:

•Must wear proper protective equipment as required

•Be punctual with good attendance

•Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

•Able to stand for long periods of time

•Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Comments:

•This position may require overtime, for example during annual session.

Overtime is at the direction of the immediate supervisor and the client.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
