UHG - Clinical Analyst

Large managed care company is looking for a Clinical Analyst with expertise or general support in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of complaints/grievances

WORK LOCATION: FULLY REMOTE

PAY: $30.00

CONTRACT DATES: ASAP to 10/31/24

HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:30-5pm EST

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating efforts with other areas as necessary
• Communicating issues, implications and decisions with appropriate parties
• Analyzing and identifying trends for complaints/grievances
• Ensuring optimal performance re: timely, accurate, effective and complete responses
• Verifying that all documentation, letters and attachments meet customer, regulatory and internal requirements
• Preparing for and participating in audits
• Organizing, checking, pulling, reviewing and saving files
• Maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external customers including regulators
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of Managed Care experience
  
• Previous Appeals, Claims and/or Complaints/Grievances experience
• Microsoft Office experience (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to create accurate, easy to understand, and thorough written correspondence
• Previous Quality Improvement experience
• Previous Behavioral Health experience is preferred
• Dedicated space for home office set up and access to install secure high speed internet via cable/DSL in home
