Position Summary: Installation of light duty, aftermarket, electrical commercial truck, and van equipment.

Essential Job Functions and Duties

  • Read individual work orders and assemble all products prior to install
  • Track, order, and maintain all supplemental electrical parts and equipment
  • Ensure product meets quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work bay

Knowledge of job safety to ensure safe work practices

  • Adhere to strict safety and quality control production standards
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plus
  • Previous electrical and mechanical experience or completion of an accredited trade/technical school preferred
  • One (1) year of 12V electrical automotive wiring experience required
  • Strong background in electrical troubleshooting preferred
  • Previous work experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools
  • Candidates must successfully complete criminal and submit to a motor vehicle background check
  • ASE Certified (or in-process) preferred
  • Welding experience is a plus

Skills:

  • Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools as required
  • Ability to follow diagrams, written and verbal instruction
  • Ability to work with others and possess good communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
