Whether you're interested in exploring or expanding your career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this position is for you Ideal candidates have previous experience working with children, an academic background in related fields such as psychology, education, social work etc., or experience in the ABA field. As a Behavior Technician, you'll be responsible for teaching new skills to clients such as, communication, daily living, and social skills, while also teaching replacement skills for behaviors that inhibit safety or independence.

Currently, we are conducting interviews for part-time Behavior Technician positions to delivery 1:1 ABA therapy in client's homes, specifically supporting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disabilities. Ideal availability for this role would be 3-8 pm Monday to Friday but schedules are flexible. Pay ranges from 20-28$ per hour, with additional benefits such as, PTO, sick time, drive time and mileage reimbursement. We also offer a performance incentive system that provides a path towards increasing your pay

We are also committed to your professional development here at Ad Astra We provide access to 40 Hours of RBT training, the first step in qualifying you as an RBT under the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). Once the first step of certification is completed, we'll provide a 1$ raise in compensation. Upon completion of the entire RBT process, an additional 1$ raise will be given.

As a Behavior Technician of our team, your responsibilities will be:

  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to foster positive behaviors and skill development in individuals with unique abilities.
  • Work closely with families, providing guidance, support, and training to empower them to continue the ABA strategies at home.
  • Engage in collaboration with a team of professionals, using a synergistic approach to individualized care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records to track progress, making data-driven decisions that lead to the most magical outcomes.
