Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $55,000 to $75,000 depending on experience

Objective: Maintain and repair PRESCOR’S manufacturing equipment and facilities in accordance with the Company’s preventative maintenance program and respond to downtime incidents as directed by the Manufacturing Maintenance Manager.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program that ensures minimal downtime
  • Routinely inspect the Company’s equipment and facilities for excessive wear and defects
  • Repair and refurbish equipment
  • Oversee contractors hired to repair and refurbish the Company’s equipment and facilities
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed to accomplish objectives
  • Comply with the industry standards and safety regulations
  • Complete all tasks as delegated by the supervisor in charge
  • Manage time and work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Keep the work areas clean and organized
  • Move materials and equipment using a forklift and crane

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme temperatures, airborne particles or fumes, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.  The noise level in the work environment may be loud. 


Physical Demands:

  • Lift, carry, push, and or pull 1 – 50 lbs. frequently.
  • Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp, climb a ladder, and reach overhead and outward frequently.
  • Work in an industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toes shoes, and other appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • The work environment may include excessive temperatures.


Minimum Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license & proof of insurance
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of electricity (120, 240, and 480 voltages)
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and Boards preferred
  • Forklift experience 
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to perform basic welding preferred
  • Ability to read job specifications, instructions, policies, procedures, rules, posted notices and warnings, safety guidelines, and other work-related materials written primarily or exclusively in English
  • Ability to read part drawings
  • Familiarity with basic measurement methods
  • Ability to interact and work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers
  • Keep knowledge and skills current
