Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of a state-of-the-art SaaS platform for museums worldwide. This platform will seamlessly integrate MR and VR technologies with AI and machine learning, enabling museums to create and manage their infrastructure and enhance customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure services to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of the SaaS platform.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process. Monitor and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) to provision and manage cloud resources.
- DevOps Best Practices: Work closely with software developers to promote DevOps practices, ensuring code quality and reliability in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Containerization: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to enable efficient and scalable application deployment.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures, compliance policies, and access controls to protect sensitive data and user information. Regularly perform security audits and implement necessary updates.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure and applications. Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Scaling and Optimization: Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize infrastructure costs and ensure efficient resource usage.
- Documentation and Training: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes and best practices. Provide training and guidance to the development team on best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the platform's availability.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, AI engineers, and VR specialists, to support the platform's development and integration of MR/VR and AI technologies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project progress and technical details.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). (Required)
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, specifically with Microsoft Azure. (Required)
- Strong background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. (Required)
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure services. (Required)
- Familiarity with containerization tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of MR/VR and AI technologies is a plus.
