Summary of Position:
The position of Stockroom Clerk will be working at the Maury facility in Ontario, CA. In this position, you will be responsible for receiving incoming materials from production, receiving, engineering, etc. and put away into the correct location and performing proper transactions in MRP/ERP dBase. This position will regularly route materials to appropriate destinations throughout the organization. Accurately fill work orders and release shortage-free work orders to assembly areas. Check, count, and maintain inventory accuracy, proper storage, and proper packaging to maintain the highest quality requirements. This position must perform flawless inventory transactions in MRP/ERP system with a very high level of detail as well as working with Engineering, Inspection, and Production regarding any quality discrepancies. Including processing outgoing shipments using proper packaging techniques and selection of designated carrier, using sales order packing slips or planning tool instructions when required.
A level I & II clerk will be starting out and learning the process, but a Level III is expected to understand the process, how to apply learned skills and possess the talent to control material coming in, going out of inventory in multiple areas with very little supervision. A level-IV Stockroom Clerk will also possess leadership qualities, as well as the skills to train and mentor others. Pay is based on the level the candidate can demonstrate.
Essential functions of the Position:
· Receives incoming parts/raw material and shipments from various departments/carriers and routes materials to appropriate designations.
· Accurately fills work orders and releases shortage-free work orders to assembly area. Pulls and delivers stock requests.
· Process outgoing shipments using safe and proper packaging techniques and selection of designated carrier, from sales order data or planning tool software.
· Pull materials from inventory shelves and containers to fill work order requirements and deliver to production.
· Receive and stock incoming goods, verify counts and proper packaging.
· Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting daily cycle counts.
· Accurately record incoming/outgoing transactions within MRP/ERP dBase.
· Other related duties as assigned and required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
· Data entry skills with great attention to detail.
· Understand unit of measures (feet, inches, pounds, each, roll, etc..)
· Able to handle various size parts (parts that require tweezers to handle, up to parts weighing 30 pounds)
· Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office (MRP/ERP, Excel, internet) with data entry skills and a great attention to details.
· AS400 experience a plus.
· English language skills and the ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions are highly valued in this role.
· The ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others for fostering a positive and productive work environment is preferred.
· Must regularly lift and move physical inventory weighing up to 30 pounds.
· Skill in following verbal and written directions and transferring instructions into action.
· Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on a deadline.
· Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities
Experience and Education:
· High school diploma or GED required
· Minimum three (3) years of experience in a warehouse, machine shop, or production environment.
· Intermediate math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, and fractions, for print reading and tolerance determination.

Work Hours
Standard work hours of 40 per week but may be requested to work overtime as deemed necessary. Standard work scheduled is 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
