East Holland Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA accredited hospital in the beautiful beach town of Holland MI, and we are looking for a skilled Client Service Representative to join our team. EHVC is a family-owned establishment, and we consider our team members to be an extension of our family. We are looking for a CSR who is detail-orientated, has good customer service skills, is a quick learner, and is self-motivated.


The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every customer interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Make a good first impression on clients, smile, and be professional. Set a positive tone for the visit.
  • Greet clients and pets warmly when entering the clinic
  • Answer phones, send faxes/emails, get/sort/deliver mail
  • Serve as an initial source of information to clients
  • Schedule appointments, call to confirm the day before an appointment
  • Call to remind owners of fasting instructions for lab work or surgical
  • Perform callbacks on surgery and/or sick pet appointments
  • Monitor the schedule and flow of appointments
  • Learn how to use computer software (Ezyvet)
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices
  • Process payments for services via check, cash, credit card, care credit
  • Perform morning counts and end of the day, prepare deposits, maintain petty cash
  • Setup new client/patient records
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of the hospital
  • Relay appropriate information to/from clients to doctors and/or management
  • Dispense food and other over-the-counter sale items
  • Knowledge of vaccinations, basic lab tests, common diseases, and pet behavior

Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to address complaints and issues with effective solutions and a positive attitude
  • Passion for delighting customers with above-and-beyond service
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Veterinary experience is preferred but not required
