Dr. Nikki Sekhon is looking to add a Dental Treatment Coordinator to her team. The role will focus on providing quality customer service to patients as well as responsible for verifying patient insurance eligibility, understanding financial accounts, and presenting treatment plans to patients. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, punctuality, taking initiative, outstanding customer service skills and teamwork.

  • Greet patients when they enter or leave the office and deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointment and ensure information is correct in the patient's file
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, patient documentation, and appointment scheduling.
  • Assist with meeting office financial targets by ensuring the hygiene and operative schedules are full
  • Ensure our patients are receiving the dental care they need by making outbound calls to reschedule patients that do not make their appointment, call patients that have treatment that needs to be completed, and patients that need recall appointments.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities, manage unexpected events, and accommodate patient needs.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and practice management software.
  • Ordering office supplies and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required; Associates preferred.
  • Minimum one-year dental front office experience required.
  • Experience with Open Dental preferred.
  • Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.
