We at AirPro Diagnostics are searching for an experienced Quality Control Inspector that ensures the functionality,

specifications and cosmetic appearance of AirPro' s main product. This position will require an employee to evaluate, collect, and verify a range of components to specification. This position requires accurate collection of data using various instruments. The QC Inspector will properly enter and fill out data through various software applications.


The QC Inspector may also participate in various project work supporting continued improvement of the QC process. This may include work to identify areas that require quality assurance testing, determining the appropriate function to own the testing, design of tests, and creative thinking in identifying solutions that consolidate and create efficiency in processes. The candidate must independently conduct assigned responsibilities. In addition, he or she will also be responsible for assisting their manager in addressing other key initiatives within the Quality Control team.


Essential Functions:


  • Approve in-process production by confirming required functionality specifications, cosmetic appearance of AirPro products and documentation verification of inspections of finished and in-process products and communicating the required adjustments to the Senior Process Analyst.
  • Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.
  • Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work.
  • Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Create, revise, and maintain checklists for all repeated tasks, including but not limited to, returned tool check-ins, new tool ship-outs, replacement tool ship-outs, etc.
  • Audit, verify, and inspect all products, labels, and package inserts and contents according to appropriate specifications.
  • Collect, classify, and evaluate return goods from customers according to specification.
  • Interact with Manufacturing department, IT support team, R&D department and Analysts in a cordial, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



Education and Experience Requirements:


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • 2+ years’ experience working in manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ year experience working in QA/QC role.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to use shop math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of decimals and fractions)
  • Must have demonstrated communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with individuals in a congenial and cooperative manner.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervisor intervention.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency recording on and interpreting routers, process tickets, and traceability records, including all documentation requirements and the ability to detect documentation errors.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in computer systems use of Microsoft Suite with a strong emphasis in Excel.
