Carpenter

As a Carpenter for Louisiana-based Ratcliff Construction Company, you will work in a structured environment with Project Supervisors.  We are seeking carpenters able to perform a full range of rough and finished skill carpentry work, including structural woodwork, window installation, millwork and miscellaneous carpentry. The right candidate will embrace our core values of Teamwork, Positive Attitude, Relationship Driven, Excellence, Family-Oriented Workplace, and Professionalism.

Specifically, you will be responsible to:

• Read and comprehend blueprints, building plans and specification documents, drawings and instructions to build, remodel and retrofit various types of facilities and structures.
• Perform installation of various items such as doors, frames and hardware, framing, concrete forms, molding and millwork
• Have the ability to measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
  
• Provide hand and non-powered tools
• Possess a strong working knowledge of job site safety
• Maintain job site clean-up and various tasks assigned
• Work in a structured environment with Project Superintendents
• Ability to direct and instruct laborers working directly with the Carpenter.
  

Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel is required.
• 5+ years of carpentry experience
• High school diploma or GED/HiSET preferred
