We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individuals to join our team as an Early Head Start Education Coordinator.


We offer competitive wages with annual increases, and CPR/First Aid Certification through the American Heart Association. Salary $49,920.00 per year.


AWARE Early Head Start provides children with services that encourage and promote social, emotional, physical growth and development, and cognitive skills. Learning is designed to respond to the individual strengths and needs of each child.

Responsibilities:

· Directing and monitoring the planning, organizing, and implementation of classroom education services for children, including child care partnership facilities.

· Promote the school readiness of children by providing technical assistance, mentoring, and training to education staff.

· Ensures learning environments and opportunities will assist children with physical, social, cognitive and emotion development.

· Collect data, maintain documentation, and support compliance in all facets of the Head Start Performance Standards and childcare licensing.

This position will require travel depending on assigned community.

Requirements:

Talents, skills, and abilities:

· Requires a BS/BA Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, in addition to direct employment related experience.

· Three (3) years of employment in a leadership position with a demonstrated knowledge of program planning and implementation practices and cultivating community relationships, including supervisory experience.

· Head Start/Early Head Start experience preferred.
