TRISTAR is seeking a Operations Analyst II for our government customer in Crane, IN


Position Description:

  • The Operations Analyst II shall receive shipping request form from requestor via e-mail, input shipping forms into ERP, and e-mail the request for approval via appropriate e-mail chain provided by
    the MEWSD Material Movement Team
  • Once approval is granted by approving official, the Operations Analyst II shall provide a digital copy of the shipping form to the requestor
  • Coordinate with the Material Movement Team to get the material to required destination.
  • Complete Forms DD1149, DD1348, OM&S requests, and Request(s) For Issue (RFIs) forms as requested via e-mail in ERP
  • Prepare RFI on SharePoint to pull inventory in from the warehouse
  • Work with the MEWSD OM&S Lead, local inventory personnel, and technical / logistics POC to complete requests and assign disposition to material

Position Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for sourcing material
  • Will be responsible for tracking material
  • Will be responsible for updating status on ship schedule
  • Will be responsible for weekly updates on material status and providing a report to the Task Lead
  • Will be responsible for updating material data sheet
  • Onetouch knowledge
  • Track MILSTRIP and Pcard buys
  • Attend OSIC/OSR weekly meetings
  • Research material available

Position Requirements:

  • Proficient in ERP
  • Basic Excel knowledge-able to create a spreadsheet and update
  • Knowledge of 1149's/1348's
  • Experience with Material Movement
  • MUST be a US Citizen
  • Must have an Active Security Clearance of secret level or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma
