We are presently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our Plover Pointe Manor Community who will perform basic repairs, general grounds and lawn maintenance to homes owned by the community.
Responsibilities:
- Performs assigned work orders, as well as preventative maintenance on the property.
- Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins.
- Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris.
- Documents work orders in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion to ensure proper tracking.
- Maintains proper inventory of materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items.
- Ensures to consistently provide a high level of customer service to tenants, vendors and staff.
- Remains available for “on-call” duties as needed.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry is a plus.
- Valid operator’s license.
- Ability to lift or to move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to various chemical compounds
