We are looking for a Structural Steel MIG Welders to join Ideal #TeamIDEAL

What You'll Do:

Via the American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1 structural steel welding code manual, you'll be learning to plasma cut holes and helicoid at Ideal, apply and weld helicoid for a STELCOR job, weld helices with a tag team partner, as well as other smaller parts

• MIG, Spray Arc Welding with attention to quality and productivity

Our Welders Also:

• Fabricate components by analyzing requirements; using equipment to clean, prepare, burn, and weld pieces, utilizing power and hand tools as necessary
• Verify welding results by inspecting welds
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation by completing necessary records
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures, complying with legal regulations
• Keep equipment operating by following written operating instructions, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs
• Accomplish manufacturing and organization mission by completing other related tasks as needed...We won't ask you to do things way outside of your scope, but we are one #TeamIDEAL, so "not my job" isn't an option

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Able to stand (85%); walk (10%); stoop, kneel, bend or crouch (5%), as required
• Frequent twisting, horizontal reaching, upper extremity push/pull, bending
• Able to wear required PPE; ear plugs, safety glasses, steel-toed boots and welding gear
• Most of the year temperatures inside the plant will match or exceed the outdoor conditions as bay doors remain open
