Position: Route Sales Delivery Driver
Shift: 1st or 2nd and once a month a weekend day
Department: Sales
Schedule: To be agreed with direct report. (Flexible)
Reports To: Sales Field Manager
Employment Status: Full Time or Part time
FLSA Classification: Hourly/ Non-Exempt
Compensation Range: $18.00 -$20.00 + Sales Commission
Job Summary:
Cookies United, a quality-driven manufacturer based in Islip, NY, is looking to hire a route person to support the sales function. This person will drive to customer locations to deliver, promote, and sell the company's products, with a focus on growing the territory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for store deliveries.
- Collects and reconciles payments.
- Customer order entry.
- Management of inventory at store level.
- Any other duties as assigned depending on business needs.
Job Requirements:
- A valid driver's license - clean driving record.
- Eager and enthusiastic to promote sales.
Education and Experience:
- High school or a combination of some education and work experience.
- Basic math to make quick calculations and lead the inventory control.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift and carry boxes.
- Walking: inside and outside the plant.
- Drive and stand for long periods.
