POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for executing and expanding on key initiatives inside of the quality organization related to our suppliers. Will work to drive improvement with Integra’s supplier base through continuous and corrective improvement activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Work with suppliers on quality-related concerns.
    1. Issue, monitor, review and approve Supplier Corrective Action Reports.
    2. Issue supplier discrepancies and help drive improvement with Integra suppliers.
    3. Report and present actions as needed to Integra’s customers.
  • Maintain and monitor approved supplier list.
    1. Investigate new suppliers and perform virtual or on-site audits as needed.
    2. Provide KPIs on current suppliers to QA and Purchasing management.
    3. Report metrics to suppliers as needed.
  • Support Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing and Production:
    1. Support other groups as needed through such items as the interpretation of industry standards, customer requirements, contract review, research for required semiconductor specifications, quality or processing dispositions, etc.
  • Review and approve AS9102 FAIs flowed down to Integra suppliers.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with Integra customers and suppliers to support high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a Zero Defects performance standard at all times.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry required.

Experience: Previous experience as a supplier quality engineer preferred. Experience within semiconductor industry preferred. AS9100 and/or ISO 9001, Lean, Six-Sigma, PFMEA, and 8D Corrective action experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing, to achieve required results.
  • Self-motivate with excellent customer service, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills with the ability to defuse any situation.
  • Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.
  • Anticipate and resolve complex, non-routine problems.
  • Ability to accurately track, enter, and maintain data.
  • Ability to effectively interface with employees, management team, and outside organizations.
  • Strong ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form while dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
