Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with shop standards.
  2. Draining the oil from vehicles and replacing it to manufacture specifications
  3. Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
  4. Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
  5. Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications
  6. Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries
  7. Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout the service
  8. Consult with shop supervisor to coordinate needed diagnosis of possible issues not outlined on the repair order
  9. Creating detailed services reports for customers
  10. Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  11. Reports to shift on time every day as scheduled
