Job Title: Azure Cloud Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Specialist to join our team. The Azure Cloud Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams to assess requirements, architect solutions, and provide technical expertise to support our organization's cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Assess business requirements and recommend appropriate Azure services and configurations.
  • Architect scalable and reliable cloud solutions that meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Deploy and configure Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Monitor and optimize Azure resources to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with Azure services.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on Azure best practices and solutions.
  • Stay current with Azure technologies and industry trends to ensure our organization's cloud strategy remains up-to-date.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of cloud migration and transformation projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services and solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud architectures, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.
  • Proficiency in Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Associate are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and cloud migration strategies.
