What you’ll do:

  • Support product development programs
  • Formulate inks for ink jet, thermal transfer products and other applications
  • Identify materials for innovative applications
  • Design, conduct and analyze experiments for formulation and process development and improvement
  • Make recommendations for laboratory, pilot scale and production implementations, including test plans, instrumentation, and equipment
  • Prepare documentation for manufacturing engineering and production

What you have:

  • BS in Chemistry or Material Science required
  • 1-3 years of experience in ink and coating formulation inkjet experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of statistics and design experiments
  • Knowledge of polymer science, printing and coating technology, digital Imaging, digital Inks or equivalent disciplines
  • Familiar with stage gate project management process
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Fast learner, flexible, with the ability to multi-task and work within a group setting
