This position is responsible for on-site instruction (in-service) and demonstration of Esaote North America (ENA) products. Represent Esaote North America at trade shows, regional and national educational seminars. Promote clinical excellence to ENA customers and the Veterinarian Community. This position will serve the west coast.

Requirements:

Essential Responsibilities


Provide demonstrations and in-services

• Consistently demonstrate proficiency in the use and operation of all company products.

• Assist sales force with on-site product demonstrations and presentations to potential and existing customers.

• Train sonographers and veterinarians on the use and operation of all company products.

• Act as a reference source for other Application Specialists.

• Assist other Application Specialists in problem solving.

• Provide the Marketing department with quality case study images from clinical sites.

• Assist Marketing Department in developing the following - Demo strategies, competitive reviews, training materials and presentations, and other projects.


Educational Seminar/Trade Show Responsibilities

• Attend trade shows and regional meetings for the purpose of demonstrating product instrumentation to potential and existing customers.

• Assist in National Education Center customer training seminars.

• Attend scientific and clinical presentations to maintain clinical expertise on a continual basis.

• Present lectures at Regional Ultrasound Meetings and ENA Customer Educational Programs.


Customer Satisfaction

• Perform follow-up phone calls and/or site visits to customers to ensure satisfaction with the equipment and the Esaote company.

• Maintain proper and constant communication with in-house personnel regarding customer comments and concerns.

• Provide clinical support and assist in maintaining a good clinical partnership with key and luminary accounts.

• Represent Esaote through site visits and/or phone calls to “problematic accounts”.


Position Requisites

• Licensed Veterinary Technologist (LVT) required. RDMS preferred.

• Five years clinical experience in veterinary ultrasound

• Excellent communications skills.

• Highly skilled clinical professional.

• Consistently shows initiative to accomplish additional projects.

• Good written and communication skills.

• Ability to represent excellence as a spokesperson at luminary accounts, seminars, and meetings.


Supervisory Responsibilities: None


Working Conditions

This job requires extensive travel which may entail frequent or extended overnight travel. Although some portion of the weekly working time may be spent in the company’s office or the employee’s home office, the majority of the essential responsibilities will be performed at customer sites.

This job requires the loading and unloading of ultrasound systems from a van utilizing a lift gate, with the ability to occasionally lift and carry components or supply containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Also requires the ability to maneuver this equipment into and out of customer locations under a variety of environmental conditions. These circumstances may expose the job incumbent to a higher-than-normal risk for minor cuts, bruises or sprains.

Hazards - Individual is exposed to various illnesses, communicable diseases, air borne diseases, viruses, etc. Travel in all-weather conditions by car or plane and would be exposed to related hazards.

Must have an understanding of the company’s quality management system and how it relates to the job function. The Esaote Inc. quality management system is intended to comply with applicable external quality standards as referenced in the Esaote Quality Manual.
