This position requires an active ARRT (AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGISTS) credential and a WA State Radiologic Technologist license. We're looking for a Radiologic Technologist who wants to take their skills to the next level and train to become a CT technologist. This position offers full CT modality exposure and provides on-the-job training to prepare you to take your advanced Computed Tomography Registry. We will provide training, registry reimbursement and a transitional wage increase upon successful completion of your CT registry.

Seattle Radiology is located on a narrow strip of land between the salt waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Lake Washington, Seattle is known for its bustling waterfront, lush evergreen forests and the picturesque backdrop of the San Juan Islands. Compensation:

The salary range is $34.70 to $46.50/hourly. The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to current job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The compensation listed is based on full-time employment status, full-time is 40 hours per week.

Position Summary:

  • Properly performs X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and DEXA imaging to ACR standards
  • Training into Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging
  • Assists radiologist with specialized procedures
  • Prepares sterile trays
  • Properly screens orders prior to exam for any precautions or contraindications
  • Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
  • Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT)
  • One year of X-Ray experience preferred
  • Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
